Jefferson has completed his five-game suspension and is eligible to return to the court for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies.

Analysis:

Jefferson's absence has actually extended back to Nov. 29, as he suffered a left calf strain that sidelined him for over two weeks before the suspension for a violation of the NBA's drug policy was implemented. During Jefferson's 11-game absence, the Hornets went 5-6 and should benefit from the return of their top post scorer, who is expected to immediately reclaim his starting spot at center. With Jefferson back in the fold, the likes of Cody Zeller and Frank Kaminsky appear most at risk of losing playing time.
