Raptors without James Johnson against Hawks

The Toronto Raptors were without forward James Johnson on Wednesday in Atlanta against the Hawks, as the forward dealt with a sore left Achilles.

Johnson's absence explained the Raptors' call-ups of Bruno Caboclo and Delon Wright from the D-League, and their activation for Wednesday's game for depth purposes, even though neither played.

Johnson played 12 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Phoenix Suns, hitting four of seven shots for eight points off the bench. He has played well in limited playing time so far this season, an issue he pointed out last week via social media.
