Canaan is expected to draw a second straight start at point guard Sunday versus the Grizzlies, Keith Pompey of the Philly Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

It would be the sixth start of the season for Canaan, who appears to have taken the starting point guard job back from rookie T.J. McConnell after surrendering it earlier this season. In Friday's loss to the Rockets, Canaan turned in one of his better games of his season, finishing with 23 points (9-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two rebounds, and two assists over 32 minutes. Canaan has now shot seven or more three-pointers in four straight games, so expect him to come out firing again Sunday.
