Jazz's Burke, Hood questionable Saturday vs. Pelicans

Russ Isabella / USA TODAY Sports

The Utah Jazz have listed a pair of backcourt players as questionable for Saturday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Salt Lake City Hoops' Andy Larsen.

Both Trey Burke and Rodney Hood have been dealing with back spasms.

Burke - who has yet to miss a game this season - left Wednesday's contest versus the Los Angeles Clippers due to discomfort in his back.

The third-year point guard is averaging 10.8 points (43.5 percent from beyond the arc), 2.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 0.9 steals.

Hood has seen his numbers - 12.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 steals - rise across the board in his second year in the NBA.

The 23-year-old Mississippi native has started in each of the 13 games he's played this season.

Should the duo miss Saturday's game, Raul Neto and Alec Burks may have increased workloads on the perimeter for the 7-7 Jazz.
