Chandler Parsons: Rests Wednesday

Parsons (rest) will sit out Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Parsons still isn't ready to play in back-to-back games, which explains Wednesday's absence after he logged a season-high 25 minutes Tuesday against the Grizzlies. Wesley Matthews is slated to move over to small forward to cover for Parsons on Wednesday, while Raymond Felton, Devin Harris, and Justin Anderson could be asked to pick up some extra minutes. Parsons is expected to return in normal fashion Saturday against the Nuggets.
