Beverley (ankle) was able to participate in practice Tuesday, ESPN's Calvin Watkins reports.

Analysis:

It's great news for Beverley, who has missed the last five games due to a sprained ankle. The Rockets have yet to officially announce a ruling on Beverley's status heading into Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, but that decision will likely arrive sometime after the team's morning shootaround. Even if Beverley is cleared to play, interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff confirmed that Jason Terry will make another start at point guard. Even so, expect Beverley to see healthy minutes off the bench if he's able to play, as the coaching staff seems to have soured on former starter Ty Lawson.
