Rockets' Howard to play vs. Celtics

Troy Taormina / USA TODAY Sports

Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard will start Monday's game against the Boston Celtics, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen.

The 29-year-old big man sat out Saturday's contest versus the Dallas Mavericks - the second game of a back-to-back - but will bring his 16.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, and two blocks per game to Monday's match.

The Rockets have employed front lines comprised of Clint Capela, Montrezl Harrell, and Terrence Jones in Howard's sporadic absences this season.
