Hoiberg: Rose 'good to go' vs. Blazers

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose will be in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg confirmed Rose was "good to go" in speaking to reporters before the game.

Rose has missed two games due to an ankle injury.

Rose has gotten off to an extremely slow start this season, and wearing a mask while recovering from an orbital contusion could certainly explain his drop in efficiency.

He's misfiring badly on his jump shot and he's resorted to exclusively attacking the basket, but he's having trouble finishing as well.

Rose is averaging 13.6 points per game on 37.7 percent shooting from the field and 15 percent from deep. He's being outplayed by backup Aaron Brooks, and the Bulls are 6.6 points per 100 possessions worse when Rose takes the floor.
