Pacers' Stuckey out against Celtics with ankle flare-up

Indiana Pacers guard Rodney Stuckey will not play in Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics due to a right ankle sprain.

Stuckey initially sprained the ankle last Friday against the Miami Heat. The injury appeared serious and he missed the rest of that game and Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Stuckey returned to play 18 minutes in Monday's win over the Orlando Magic, scoring six points.

The Pacers are suddenly banged up in terms of backcourt depth, as C.J. Miles also recently missed three games with his own ankle issue.

Stuckey is in his second season in Indiana after seven years with the Detroit Pistons.
