Analysis:

Hinrich took an injection in his toe after being bothered by the digit for the majority of the preseason, and will need a few days off for the shot to take full effect. Once he returns to health, Hinrich is projected to see a reduced role under new coach Fred Hoiberg, as Derrick Rose, Aaron Brooks, and E'Twaun Moore all rank ahead of him in the pecking order for minutes at point guard.
