Bucks' Mayo questionable for season opener

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Already without the services of Jabari Parker (knee) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (suspension), the Milwaukee Bucks may have to play their season opener sans guard O.J. Mayo.

The 27-year-old shooting guard is questionable for Wednesday's home game against the New York Knicks with an apparent hamstring injury, head coach Jason Kidd said Monday, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal's Charles Gardner.

Mayo sat out practice Monday along with rookie Rashad Vaughn, who injured his right shoulder during Milwaukee's preseason finale last Friday.

In 71 games last season with the Bucks, Mayo averaged 11.4 points on 42.2 percent shooting off the bench.
