Miles (illness) returned to practice Wednesday, Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Analysis:

After sitting out Tuesday's exhibition against the Pistons due to a bronchial infection, Miles seems to have made dramatic strides in his recovery and now believes he'll be available for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers. Miles is slated to serve as the Pacers' starting small forward this season, where he'll be a decent source for three-point makes, low double-digits scoring, and little else beyond that.
