Henderson (hip) hasn't been cleared for full-contact drills and is unsure whether he'll be able to play in the opener on Oct. 28 against the Pelicans, Erik Gundersen of The Columbian reports.

Analysis:

Henderson underwent a left hip debridement procedure shortly after he was acquired from from the Hornets in late June, which is clouding his return to the court. Once Henderson does return, he could be eased into action, while C.J. McCollum primarily handles the two-guard spot. In the long run, coach Terry Stotts will have to make a decision on the Blazers' starting shooting guard, but Henderson's veteran status may give him an upper hand in the competition.
