It's looking like new Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg will inherit a roster similar to his predecessor's.

The team announced Tuesday guard/forward Mike Dunleavy has re-signed and will return to the Windy City next season. It was reported earlier that Dunleavy's deal is for three years and $14.4 million.

Also returning for 2015-16 is combo guard Aaron Brooks, according to a separate announcement. Recent reports stated that Brooks' pact is a one-year deal worth $2 million.

Although both players are no longer proverbial spring chickens - Dunleavy is 34 and Brooks is 30 - they each provided valuable production for the Bulls last season.

Player PPG 3P% MPG PER
Dunleavy 9.4 40.7 29.2 11.6
Brooks 11.6 38.7 23 14.4

Hoiberg will have the luxury of relying on these two veterans next year whenever supplementary scoring is needed, with the bulk of the scoring load resting on the collective shoulders of Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, and Pau Gasol.
