Veteran free agent Carlos Boozer is reportedly drawing interest from a string of contenders.

The jumpshooting 13-year-veteran is in on-going conversations with the Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, and the Toronto Raptors, reports Chris Broussard of ESPN.

Broussard's report confirmed earlier whispers connecting the Spurs and Clippers to the 33-year-old power forward.

All four of the teams mentioned share something in common: holes in the frontcourt.

The Clippers lost DeAndre Jordan and were weak at center to begin with. The Mavericks added Jordan, but their third big is currently Dwight Powell. The Spurs are pretty set in the frontcourt, but have been rumored to be chasing David West and Boozer would serve as a decent facsimile. Finally, the Raptors lost fan-favorite Amir Johnson and could use another power forward.

Boozer would serve as a steady backup. He's a woeful defender, but Boozer is a decent midrange shooter in pick-and-pop scenarios and he has decent touch around the hoop.

Last season, Boozer averaged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 49.9 percent from the field as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, who were outscored by nine points per 100 possessions with Boozer on the court.
