Emmanuel Mudiay's decision to sign a professional contract in China rather than play college basketball made him somewhat of the invisible man when it came to draft discussions among NBA fans.
They knew he was coming, and in the mix for one of the top picks, but most had never seen him play outside of Youtube or seen his face outside of stock images.
The Congolese-American point guard will be a household name soon enough if all goes according to plan, as he's widely expected to be a top-six or seven pick come Thursday's NBA Draft. Until then, Foot Locker and Under Armour have introduced Mudiay with a series of comical yet inspiring commercials focusing on how the draft changes lives.
Note that the first Slam issue Mudiay picks up in the final 'Before the Draft' segment features another famous Under Armour star.
