John Wall: (Wrist) Will Play Game 6

Wall (wrist) confirmed Friday morning that he will play in Game 6 against the Hawks, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

After missing Games 2, 3 and 4 with fractures in his non-shooting wrist, Wall returned for Game 5 and looked spry, finishing with 15 points, four rebounds and seven assists in 37 minutes. While he was favoring the right hand, he did not appear to be limited while dribbling with his left, and he was aggressive defensively, blocking two shots, including one in the final seconds that nearly won Washington the game. Coach Randy Wittman previously stated that if Wall plays, his minutes will not be restricted, so expect the point guard to again see a heavy workload as the Wizards attempt to stave off elimination.
