LeBron to sit out regular-season finale

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Not much of a surprise out of Cleveland on Wednesday, as LeBron James will sit out the Cavaliers' regular-season finale against the Washington Wizards.

Both teams are locked in at the No. 2 and No. 5 seeds, respectively, so the game is mostly irrelevant. James sat out Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics as well. With the DNP, James will end his 12th NBA season with 69 games played, the least amount of games he's played in an 82-game season.

James averaged 25.3 points, 7.4 assists and six rebounds in 36.1 minutes per game.
