Evan Fournier back from 18-game absence for Magic on Wednesday

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The collective hair game of the Orlando Magic is set to improve substantially on Wednesday.

Evan Fournier and his beautiful top knot will return from an 18-game absence as the Magic take on the Chicago Bulls. The French wing has been sidelined since Feb. 25 due to a hip injury that was originally thought to be a short-term issue and was later expected to keep him out for the rest of the season.

Fournier went through Wednesday's shootaround without issue and is available off the bench for the Magic, who are without guards Luke Ridnour and Willie Green.

In 56 games before the injury, Fournier was averaging 11.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists, shooting 43.7 percent from the floor and 37.4 percent from long range. The 22-year-old has taken a nice step forward on the offensive end in his third season and the Magic are 2.9 points per-100 possessions better with him on the floor.
