Cavs' Kevin Love returns from back injury Sunday vs. Bulls

Adam Hunger / USA TODAY Sports

After taking a game off to rest his sore lower back, Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love will return Sunday against the Chicago Bulls, according to Cavaliers head coach David Blatt

Love, who said he's been bothered by back issues all season, was injured during last Sunday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers and was forced to leave in the fourth quarter.

He subsequently sat out the Cavs' 114-88 thrashing of the Miami Heat on Thursday, but went through a full practice Saturday in which Blatt said he looked good.

Love is coming off his worst individual month of the season, having averaged 14.7 points and 8.8 rebounds in March. In two games against the Bulls, he's shot a combined 8-of-30 from the field and 2-of-9 from distance, though he's also averaged 14 rebounds.
