Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Tim Duncan and Isaiah Thomas have been named Western Conference and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the week of April 6-12.

Duncan averaged 17.3 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.3 blocks, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 3-0 week, as the defending champions extended their winning streak to 11 games and surged to the top of the Southwest Division standings.

Duncan, who has now won the weekly award 22 times in his illustrious career, last took home the honor in late March of last year.

Thomas, meanwhile, won the award for the second time in the last seven weeks since being acquired by the Boston Celtics at the Feb. 19 trade deadline.

Thomas averaged 22.7 points, 5.7 assists and 2.7 rebounds on an impressive 49-44-88 shooting line to help the Celtics to a 3-0 week in their pursuit of one of the East's final playoff spots.

The Celtics have gone 13-7 with Thomas in the lineup, performing 5.6 points per 100 possessions better with the undersized reserve on the court as opposed to on the bench, boosting Thomas's Sixth Man of the Year candidacy.
