Analysis:

Clifford noted that he was a strong advocate of the Hornets signing Stephenson this offseason, but he all but admitted that the idea has backfired. "Lance is here because of me. I'm the one that wanted Lance," Clifford said. "It's simply that I can't find a group that plays well when he's out there." Stephenson has now sat out the last two games, and it remains to be seen how, or if, he'll be used over the final handful of regular season games.
