Dwight Howard will play Sunday, sit Monday

Dwight Howard is on the court again after a 26-game absence due to knee problems, but the Houston Rockets are still being cautious about easing him back into their rotation.

With the Rockets slated to play back-to-back games against the Washington Wizards on Sunday and the Toronto Raptors on Monday, Howard will only feature in the former contest and will sit for the latter.

Howard, who made the decision to play Saturday after going through pre-game warmups, will also have a restriction of 20 minutes when he takes on the Wizards.

Friday saw the Rockets clinch a playoff spot in Howard's second game back from injury. He played 20 minutes and finished with 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting.
