Blazers' Aldridge, Kaman, Batum probable for Friday

Jaime Valdez-USA TODAY Sports

Help is on the way for the Portland Trail Blazers.

LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Kaman and Nicolas Batum are all considered probable for Friday's contest against the Phoenix Suns.

Aldridge is battling a sprained wrist which kept him out of Portland's Tuesday contest, but managed to return Wednesday. Aldridge struggled as he shot just 7-of-18 from the field and racked up four turnovers.

Kaman has missed the last three games with a shoulder injury. On the year, Kaman has been a strong contributor off the bench, posting averages of 8.7 points and 6.6 rebounds on 50.6 percent shooting from the field.

Finally, Batum has missed two games with a back injury that he suffered last week against the Memphis Grizzlies. Batum has been hit hard by injuries this season which has undercut his effectiveness, but the 26-year-old swingman still remains a fixture in Portland's wing rotation. Batum is averaging 9.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
