Westbrook loses 10th triple-double after stat review strips him of a rebound

Correction: Russell Westbrook has only nine triple-doubles this season. 

The NBA rescinded the 10th triple-double the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard thought he'd recorded Sunday against the Miami Heat, according to The Oklahoman's Darnell Mayberry. 

One of Westbrook's rebounds was stripped upon review. His updated official stats Sunday: 12 points, nine rebounds, and 17 assists. 

Let's face it: Westbrook's triple-double tally is only a formality. He's averaging 31.9 points, 11.2 assists and 9.7 rebounds in March. His next victim: the Los Angeles Lakers, who are in OKC on Tuesday.
