Wizards' Nene on rival Bulls: 'You know I hate them'

Geoff Burke / USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Wizards upset the Chicago Bulls in a chippy first-round playoff series last spring that spilled into this year's preseason, so it's safe to say there's no love lost between the two teams heading into their Tuesday evening clash at the United Center.

In case the Bulls thought differently, though, Wizards big man Nene drove the point home Monday.

Tuesday's matchup will feature two beat-up, backsliding teams trying to stay afloat in the top half of the Eastern Conference playoff race.

The Bulls, who are now without Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and potentially Taj Gibson, are only a half-game ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Central Division. The Wizards, meanwhile, who are still without Bradley Beal, have lost 11 of their last 14 games and are only 1.5 games ahead of Milwaukee for the East's fifth seed.
