Rudy Gay returns to Kings' lineup Tuesday, Collison still out

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

After missing the team's surprising win over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday with a sore left foot, Rudy Gay will return to the Sacramento Kings' lineup Tuesday night against the Chicago Bulls, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Gay, whose starting small-forward position was filled by Omri Casspi against the Suns, had been listed as questionable earlier on Tuesday.

It's not all good news on the injury front, however, as point guard Darren Collison will miss a third consecutive game due to a hip flexor.

Collison is posting career-highs across the board in his first season with the Kings, averaging 16.1 points, 5.6 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals on an Effective Field Goal Percentage of 52.5.
