Dirk Nowitzki: (Rest) Sidelined Thursday
Nowitzki won't take the court Thursday at Sacramento in order to rest, the Mavericks' official site reports.
Analysis:
Nowitzki will take a seat in the back end of the Mavericks' current back-to-back set, which is in the middle of four games in six nights this week. His replacement in the starting five hasn't been released, but when he previously missed a game for purposes of rest on Jan. 14, Richard Jefferson manned power forward in Nowitzki's place.
