Dinwiddie's per-36 numbers aren't anything to do cartwheels over, but his great size (6-6) and potential to develop into a two-way starting point guard in the NBA is apparent when watching his highlights. Coach Stan Van Gundy said the team plans to give Dinwiddie more minutes as the season wears on, and if Jennings misses considerable time, Van Gundy could move up the schedule on giving Dinwiddie a larger role.
