Nicolas Batum: (Wrist) Out Saturday

Batum (wrist) will not play Saturday, the Trail Blazers' official site reports.

Analysis:

Batum played just 22 minutes in Thursday's game before leaving as a result of the injury. He's struggled most of the season while trying to play through all of his maladies. Batum holders may look back on this time off as a boon to Batum's value if he ends up producing better the rest of the season. Dorell Wright appears to be the obvious choice to replace Batum in the starting lineup. Batum said he'll need to wait and see how his wrist feels the next two days before making a decision on whether or not to play Monday against the Nets.
