Deron Williams: (Ribs) May Not Play Through Saturday

Williams (ribs) may not play during the remainder of the Nets' current road trip, which concludes Saturday in Utah, Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Sidelined since Jan. 7 due to fractured rib cartilage, Williams is believed to be approaching a return to the court, as he's currently present on the Nets' three-game road swing. If he indeed remains on the pine through Saturday, his next opportunity to take the court arrives Monday against the Blazers. In the meantime, though, coach Lionel Hollins will stick with Jarrett Jack at the point.
