Iman Shumpert: (Shoulder) Could Play Friday

Shumpert is targeting Friday against the Hornets as a potential return date, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

Shumpert has been sidelined with a dislocated shoulder since Dec. 12, but appears to be finally ready to take the court. He has been doing individual work since joining the Cavs, but participated in contact drills at practice Sunday in two-on-two and three-on-three settings according to the report. Shumpert participated in shootaround Monday but won't play against the Bulls. He will practice again Tuesday, with a target of returning either Friday or Sunday. He is expected to take on the starting shooting guard spot when he is fully healthy.
