Shumpert (shoulder) will remain out for at least two more weeks, Ethan Skolnick of Bleacher Report reports.

Analysis:

Shumpert, who was dealt to the Cavs on Monday, has not played in nearly a month after dislocating his shoulder on Dec. 12 against the Celtics. His absence should equate to increased minutes for fellow new addition J.R. Smith, but Shumpert has a good chance to enter the starting lineup once healthy, as the Cavaliers are in desperate need of perimeter defense. In 24 games for the Knicks this season, Shumpert averaged 9.3 points, 3.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 40.9 percent from the floor and 34.8 percent from three.
