Duncan moves into 10th place all-time in rebounds
Tim Duncan has still got it.
The San Antonio Spurs' power forward continues to excel as a 38-year-old in his 18th NBA season, and added another milestone to his list of impressive accomplishments Wednesday.
Duncan moved into 10th place on the NBA's all-time rebounding leaderboard in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans. He hauled in 10 rebounds in the victory to pass Hall of Famer Walt Bellamy.
"He's an incredible, incredible specimen," Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said of Duncan, according to Nakia Hogan of the New Orleans The Times-Picayune. "When I say specimen, I don't mean physical, I mean just mental toughness. His spirit and his professionalism are just unparalleled."
Duncan has a chance to move into the top five if he sticks around for a couple more seasons and continues to produce.
