VIDEO: DeMarcus Cousins scores beastly basket

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Here's a full list of Brooklyn Nets who can guard DeMarcus Cousins:

  •

That was obvious on Monday, even as the Nets took a 107-99 decision against the Sacramento Kings. Cousins scored 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting, adding 13 rebounds, four assists and two blocks, and the Kings actually outscored the Nets by four in his 37 minutes, getting dropped by 12 in the 11 minutes he sat. He continues to be a beast, a dog, a...well, you get it.

Of course, Mason Plumlee thought he could handle the Kings' behemoth, especially if he had help from Sergey Karasev and Mirza Teletovic. After all, Plumlee-Cousins was a debate for playing time at USA Basketball camp this summer, right? Wrong.

Plumlee was very, very wrong.

Cousins absolutely embarrassed Plumlee on this basket late in the Kings' loss, showing emphatically that he did the best he could to put his team - and for this basket, the Nets' frontcourt - on his back.

BOOGIE DOING BOOGIE THINGS

That's just unfair.
