Valanciunas is starting to get more respect from officials this season, and as a result has drawn more fouls and gotten to the free throw line with more consistency, the Toronto Sun reports.

Analysis:

So far there hasn't been a big change in his numbers, as the third-year center is averaging 4.3 FT attempts a game compared to 3.2 attempts last season, but given Valanciunas' excellent free throw shooting (a career-high 82% on the season so far) any increase is going to have a positive impact on his fantasy value. His overall numbers are only slightly ahead of last year's pace but all the trend-lines with Valanciunas are pointing up, so it may be worth trying to trade for him as a buy-high candidate, as he's just scratching the surface of his potential.
