Kyrie Irving: Leaves With Knee Injury

Irving was helped into the locker room during the second quarter of Thursday's game against the Thunder with what appears to be a left knee injury, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

Irving landed awkwardly on his left knee while attempting to defend a shot by Russell Westbrook and immediately went down in pain. Fortunately, he was able to put some pressure on his knee while getting helped off the court. The team will likely update his status at some point before the game Friday, but given the nature of the injury, it seems unlikely he will return Thursday.
