Brandon Jennings: (Thumb) Will Start Sunday

Jennings (thumb) will play and return to the starting lineup for the Pistons on Sunday, Dave Pemberton of the Oakland Press reports.

Analysis:

With Jennings returning to the starting lineup for the first time in three games, teammate D.J. Augustin will move back to the bench. Jennings will likely have the ball enough to warrant immediate reentry to starting lineups, but it's not clear if his thumb will affect his shot at all. It's very possible that Jennings scoring numbers will be a bit lower than his average this month of nearly 20 points per game, but as long as he doesn't struggle too much, he should play enough to start.
