Deron Williams of the Brooklyn Nets and Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors have been named the Eastern Conference and Western Conference Player of the Week, respectively, for the week ending Nov. 9.

The league announced the awards on Monday, giving Williams his first nod since Nov. 2010 and handing a Warrior the honor for the second consecutive week. This marks the fourth time Williams has been a recipient and somehow the first for Curry, who follows teammate Klay Thompson's nod from a week ago.

Williams led the Nets to a 3-1 record this week, averaging 20.8 points and seven assists while shooting 56.9 percent from the floor. On the season, the resurgent point guard is averaging 19.5 points and seven dimes, carving up opponents off the bounce and leading him to admit he's back to feeling like nobody can guard him one-on-one.

Curry had a lighter week but helped lift the Warriors to a 2-1 record and a 5-1 start overall. In three games, he averaged 30 points, six rebounds, 7.3 assists and 3.3 steals while hitting 51.9 percent of his threes, bringing his season averages to an unfair 27.7, 6.3, 7.2 and 3.5, respectively, with his scoring total and steal rate both pacing the league.
