A scary scene occurred in Minnesota on Saturday, as Timberwolves forward Thaddeus Young was forced to leave the game after being inadvertently elbowed by Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler.

Upon being struck, Young appeared to go limp as he fell to the ground. He eventually sat up and left under his own power. You can see video footage of the incident below.

Young scored eight points and dish out two assists in 17 minutes before his night came to a premature end.

There is no official word yet on the extent of Young's injury, though he was diagnosed with a neck strain. Anthony Bennett stepped up and scored 12 points in 20 minutes of play in Young's absence.
