Rose (ankle) didn't return to Friday's game against the Cavaliers after the third quarter. He had 20 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, and four assists in 25 minutes before leaving.

Analysis:

Rose suffered the injury in the second quarter and was able to temporarily play through it into the third, but coach Tom Thibodeau didn't feel as though the point guard was moving around well enough to keep going thereafter. The Bulls listed Rose as questionable to return in the fourth quarter, but Thibodeau ended up sticking with the red-hot Kirk Hinrich in Rose's stead the rest of the way. The severity of Rose's injury is not known at this time, so for now, he looks to be questionable for Saturday's tilt with the Timberwolves.
