NBA GMs survey: Spurs will repeat as champs, LeBron will win MVP

The NBA's general managers believe the San Antonio Spurs are set to repeat as champions for the very first time.

The league's 13th annual survey of GMs was released Wednesday on NBA.com, with 46.2 percent of the league's decision-makers tabbing the Spurs to win a sixth NBA championship. Spurs fans shouldn't get too excited, though, as last year's poll had 75.9 percent of respondents picking the Miami Heat to win their third consecutive ring.

The survey included 56 different questions, excluding the previously controversial White Guy Award (Which player makes the most of limited natural ability?). The most interesting are highlighted below.

NBA Champions: Spurs (46.2 percent), Cavaliers (15.4 percent)

Most Valuable Player: LeBron James (67.9 percent), Kevin Durant (21.4 percent)

Most Likely to Break out: Anthony Davis (29.6 percent), Bradley Beal (14.8 percent)

Best Five (GMs voted for the best player at each position): Chris Paul (PG, 71.4 percent), James Harden (SG, 63 percent), LeBron James (SF, 75 percent), LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake Griffin (PF, 25 percent each), Dwight Howard (C, 42.9 percent)

Rookie of the Year: Jabari Parker (75 percent), Andrew Wiggins (17.9 percent)

Best coach: Gregg Popovich (92.9 percent)
