NBA Game Summary - Boston at Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - To be short, the Boston Celtics defeated the Brooklyn Nets, 95-90, in a preseason game on Sunday.

But really, the game was shorter in length than usual.

The National Basketball Association experimented with 11-minute quarters to potentially shorten the length of games. The league utilized this contest to examine the flow of a shorter game as compared to the standard 48-minute tilt.

Jared Sullinger led all scorers with 21 points and also contributed a game- high 19 rebounds for Boston. Brandon Bass came off the bench to score 16 points and Jeff Green added 14 points with six rebounds in the win.

Jarrett Jack and Jerome Jordan each scored 17 points for the Nets, with Jordan converting 7-of-7 shots from the field.
