NBA Game Summary - Denver vs. Golden State

Des Moines, IA (SportsNetwork.com) - James Michael McAdoo scored 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter to help the Golden State Warriors rally past the Denver Nuggets, 104-101, in the first NBA exhibition game in Des Moines since 1997.

Klay Thompson added 18 points for the Warriors, who outscored Denver by a 32-16 margin in the final period. Stephen Curry and Ognjen Kuzmic tallied 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Timofey Mozgov and Wilson Chandler each had 18 points for the Nuggets, who fell to 1-4 in the preseason.

The Nuggets led by 17 early in the fourth quarter. But the Warriors battled back and took a 100-99 lead on Jason Kapono's 3-pointer with 1:47 left. McAdoo's slam and Harrison Barnes' jumper sealed the victory for Golden State, which improved to 4-0 in the preseason.
