Analysis:
Evans, who was injured in a pickup game in late September, was only able to get in "some work" Saturday, but coach Monty Williams said it went well. It represents a positive step toward Evans' goal of being ready for the Pelicans' Oct. 28 regluar-season opener against the Magic.
