Report: Garnett still hasn't informed Nets of his 2014-15 decision

Jason Kidd moved from Brooklyn to Milwaukee, Paul Pierce departed to Washington, and the Nets off-season came and went without any tangible Kevin Garnett news.

The future Hall of Famer is expected to return for a 20th NBA season this year, but has yet to confirm that return, according to the Boston Globe.

Nets coach Lionel Hollins is still waiting to hear from former Celtic Kevin Garnett, who has not given the team an indication he wants to return, though he is expected to play a 20th NBA season.

Garnett, who turned 38 in May, posted career-low averages in minutes, points, assists, blocks, steals and field goal percentage in 2013-14, while posting his lowest rebounding average since his rookie season.

Earlier this summer, new Nets coach Lionel Hollins stated that "all reports I have is that he's coming back."

With 54,000 minutes logged between the regular season and playoffs over the last two decades and last season's decline still fresh in our minds, it doesn't appear Garnett has much left to offer the Nets outside of some defense and leadership. But with $12 million remaining on his contract for just one more year, K.G. sticking around for a swan song of a season still makes the most sense.
