VIDEO: Andrew Wiggins' first commercial

The first of what will likely be many commercials featuring first overall pick Andrew Wiggins has debuted.

The Minnesota Timberwolves rookie returned to his elementary school basketball court and played some hoops with local youngsters in his first ad for BioSteel Sports.

Earlier this month, Wiggins talked to the Toronto Star about the experience of coming back home after making it big.

It means a lot...coming back to my old stomping grounds. This is where it all started. Growing up here as a little kid, I was out here every day after school. I would come here before school and play basketball here with my friends. From Grade 2 to 8-9, I was always here everyday after school playing basketball. When I come here, I just really forget everything. When I was playing basketball with the kids, I forgot it was a shoot. I was just having fun with the kids playing basketball, because it brought back all these memories.
