The Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly close to signing swingman Chris Douglas-Roberts to boost their wing depth, according to Dan Woike of the Orange County Register.
The 27-year-old spent last season as a bench piece for the revitalized Charlotte Bobcats, shooting a career-high 38.6 percent on three-pointers and providing solid defense.
The Clippers already have 13 players on their roster, and boast strong wing pieces including J.J. Redick, Matt Barnes, and Jamal Crawford.
Douglas-Roberts has played for four different teams in his five-year career, including stints with the New Jersey Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Dallas Mavericks.
