Kings' DeMarcus Cousins says injured knee is feeling better

Cary Edmondson / USA TODAY Sports

Good news continues to roll in after it was revealed that Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins avoided significant damage to his knee after sustaining an injury at Thursday's Team USA practice.

"It's better than [Thursday], so that's a good sign," Cousins said Friday via ESPN's Nick Friedell. "Just gradually trying to get through the pain. It's going to be a process. As the days go on it should get better."

Cousins will not play in a friendly against Brazil on Saturday despite the positive diagnosis.
