Thunder announce signing of Anthony Morrow

The Oklahoma City Thunder have finalized a deal with one of the most proficient shooters in the NBA.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but CSN Northwest previously reported that it's a three-year deal worth just over $10 million.

Morrow, who recently declined the 2014-15 option year on his contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, is as lethal a shooter as they come. The 2013-14 season saw him rank fourth in the NBA in three-point percentage, and his career three-point percentage of 42.8 ranks fifth among all players since 2008-09.

While it's hard to believe that such an impressive shooter went undrafted in 2008, Morrow is often criticized for other aspects of his game, evidenced by the 8.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists he averaged over 18.8 minutes last season.

Still, the deal seems like a solid signing for the Thunder, who ranked 14th in three-point percentage last season and who are in need of a shooting guard after shipping Thabo Sefolosha to the Atlanta Hawks in a sign-and-trade.
